£7!!!!! for a truffle dish with real truffle!!!!!!!! I love lina stores. basically buckwheat taglioni with vegan truffle butter and vegan cheese!
the buckwheat pasta has a pretty distinct wheat taste, but was cooked al dente🤌 truffle flavour was BOMB but having tried the vegetarian, non vegan version, no matter how much I’d like to say the vegan version is just as good, it really isn’t😔 the non-vegan version had an extra depth of flavor that made it more satisfying and the truffle flavour came through more. the vegan one was also a bit less creamy and “watery” according to my friend. the vegan mushroom pasta also isn’t as good as the vegetarian version - I think the cheese really makes a difference, with the vegan cheese being less pungent, salty and creamy. vegan ones could use a little bit more salt tbh. BUT STILL! grateful for good, affordable and authentic vegan pasta in london, and this is too near where I live so it really takes willpower not to eat this everyday😭😭
