Beet Burger with Vegan Cream Cheese

I have nothing but praise for their #burger options 🙌 RM21 is a steal for

a #homemade burger #patty with #vegancheese 🧀 Their burgers are #beetroot based plus made with a blend of #mushroom, organic #oats, and organic pearl #barley 🌾

The #cheese too is fantastic but they appear a little more hush-hush on its contents 🤫 Penang seems to be ripe with locally made cheese and they’re absolutely remarkable ✨ It’s a nice contrast to the ultra-processed foods you get in #plantbased establishments elsewhere, especially where I live in Singapore 🏝️

I highly recommend giving this burger a shot. The bun, the patty, everything is perfect. My omni friend was impressed. Not every #veganburger ought to taste like a meat burger 😉

Thanks to the amazing @dafnelately , I’ve been gifted with so many #vegan firsts 🥰

This #beetroot #burger was just another all star in the line up 🤩 Look! They’ve even got the abillion sticker! 😆

As you can see, we’ve got a #charcoal #bun which is denser but so much more flavourful 😋 It gives it such an earthiness that really matched the #patty‘s similar overtones 🤤 The bun gave a kind of nice resistance of elasticity but still so dense. I also love how it comes off almost nutty but it’s mostly that #toasty roast of grains and beans combined 😝 It’s such an interesting bite of something so whole with the light crisp of roasted #beans 🤪 I think the #creamcheese was a little mild for me. I could’ve done for a richer saltiness but the texture is spectacular!

RM21 seems like a lot until you realise they give 2 burgers instead of 1!! 😜

The #potatochips buried underneath were Ruffles with some herb under but the dish works so I’m not complaining! 😝

Great chips! Half portion pictured (take-out for mirrored half). Pricey at 21 though portion made

it worthwhile afterall. Would appreciate some sorta sandwiched greens for better nutrition and a pop of colours visually so to speak

Trivia 👉 young boss, Fuken honed his chops at famous PX for a yr and was ever so enthusiastic about the topic veganism in my short visit there, working towards being one himself 👍
