Signature Non-Spicy Five Spices Sauce (Dry)

I’m so happy that Man Kou Xiang appears in Woodlands now and then. Their stinky #tofu may have caused some complaints (it even appeared on the news for the same reason), but it’s still worth the hour-long wait! I’m lucky not to wait an hour, having been in line for just a few minutes before my turn to order. It seems like they have solved the problem of supply and staffing shortages. I usually get their spicy mala flavour, but this time I tried the #fivespice white #stinkytofu. I wasn’t expecting it to be topped full of #garlic, but I’m not complaining because I’m a #garlicgirl 😂 The flavour is #intense, and I love it! Still a little spicy (something to take note of if you’re looking for something not spicy at all). The white tofu is juicy, unlike the black tofu I had before. You can try the white tofu with dry topping and black tofu in the soup base. Stinky, but not as stinky as the ones in JB, and the ones in JB are not as good as the ones in Taipei 😆
