Siew Mai dumplings

One of my favorite dim sums here (on the left). I was told that they handmade these #vegansiewmai from their central kitchen. Takeaway in my own container.

This is a veggie siew mai - which tasted quite unlike the ordinary dim sum.

The fillings of the Siew Mai is generous and different from the others I have tasted. I felt the filling was a little too dried, I would prefer it to have more moisture. I am not really a fan of Siew Mai. But my mum is. So this dish was bought for her, and she said, “Ho Jia!” It simply means delicious! #veganisnotscary
