Satay

I was eating with two regulars at this restaurant, and they are fans of the satay. I try to stay away from fried food, but the peanut sauce was great, on its own and with some of our other dishes, such as the salad.

These taste really yummy! The satay nuggets are coated with fragrant spices like lemongrass and comes with an addictive satay sauce dip.

The satay meat itself had a good texture and turmeric flavour. Did not resemble Satay much though it was tasty. The sauce had a strong turmeric taste as well which made the flavour profile one dimensional. It lacked the iconic satay sauce peanut flavour.
