I’m not exaggerating when I say I almost cried eating this 😭 and I’m not even talking about the #sambal 🌶 I have not been able to enjoy a dish like this outside since I started my whole #veganuary journey a year ago on this thine same island 😭 Vegan #malayfood is so incredibly hard to come across in Penang! & even then it’s things like rendang or nasi lemak when what I really need is this 💚 For fritters you have eggplant, potatoes, #tempeh, and #tofu, with a side of 2 tomato slices on a single lettuce so your GP don’t say too much 🏃♀️💨👩⚕️ 💬 I just can’t believe that this is just straight up vegan and the staff weren’t even weird about when I asked to make sure 😭 The main show here is the 2 sambals, the red should be the #geprek and the green #gepuk but honestly I’m not sure cause I don’t think there were any nuts in there.
