roasted vegetable tart

this #vegetabletart was ok. there was not a lot of flavor but there was not bad flavor. it reminded me of a tart i had in nailsworth last year that was frozen. I had to laugh. There were two other tables in the restaurant while I was eating and someone at the closest table picked all the peas out of their food also. 😂 they do offer a lot of #veganoptions however i think most of them are not prepared in house. this looks like a charming independent pub but is part of the chef and brewer chain. the server told me they do not make these. the roasted potatoes were delicious. so was the #arugula salad. for 7.99£ not bad. i had wanted the mushroom and ale pie but they were a chef down so were offering a limited menu. at twice the price, i feel i would have been disappointed, giving it is not homemade. #pubfood #veganpubfood a bonus though, it is the halfway point of a lovely walk where i saw sheep, rabbits, pheasants, and met some charming cows. 🐄🥰 the angela sign was in the restroom. i had never seen one like this before.
