Prune and Dark Chocolate Brownies with Bitter Chocolate Ganache

Rich and #chocolately without tasting too sweet. As with everything else at Cultivate Café the portion size was tiny, but this was the best of the desserts we tried.

Oh my fudge! The menu was so right about this being rich in vitamin K cause just one whip too much of this and I could no longer feel my body 🐴 I’m always skeptical of #prunes in cakes but this one luckily didn’t have too much of that #cockroachmilk aftertaste 🪳 The #darkchocolate unfortunately wasn’t as dark as I would’ve had it, even on the #sweettooth side in fact, so I would letter a word of caution for those true #teamdarkchocolate fans; Myself included. I won’t get this again, not at S$16, but I can definitely see some enjoying it. This was just the perfect #dessert for the lot of us to share and end our #finedining meal 😋 Such a great restaurant!

A healthified lite version of a dark chocolate brownie; what it lacks in sinful thickness that one would expect of a brownie it makes up for in a unique subtle prune flavour and berries to give it a tart finish.

The restaurant gave this to us as a compliment to congratulate my wife on her birthday! It was sweet (prune sugar?) and mixed nice with the bitter lemony ganache. Loved it!
