Not super impressed with this bowl, but it could be my fault, as I made a couple changes. This bowl included kale, forbidden rice, red cabbage, cucumbers, shredded carrots, basil, cashews, edamame instead of shrimp, and miso ginger dressing instead of Thai peanut dressing. The sauce was not good at all, super oily and flavorless. I also didn’t really like having the nuts in the salad, so I should’ve switched it out for seeds, and I think cilantro would’ve been better than basil. Honestly, I think my changes kinda ruined it, especially the sauce. I asked for tempeh instead of shrimp originally but they didn’t have any. I also asked for coconut aminos, and they were out of that too. It wasn’t super late in the day, so it was a bit frustrating that they didn’t have the advertised items on their menu. And the cherry on top was that we sat outside, and the strong wind ended up spilling my bowl on the ground. Luckily I had eaten most of it, so it wasn’t a total waste of money! Overall, it’s a pricy place and I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.
