Sooo I found out after eating this that Tantanmen is the Japanese version of the

Chinese Sichuan Dan Dan noods! It consists of ramen noodles served in a savoury broth of sesame or peanut paste and soy milk.

Was craving a hearty dinner while potao-ing in my hotel and was delighted to discover this restaurant near me. This is probably one of the BEST ramens I’ve ever had too!! Broth was extremely flavourful, noodles delightfully springy, and the vegan mince meat, edamame, mushrooms, nuts and leafy veg add so much depth to the entire dish. 🤤
