Lemon Cake

I like citrusy desserts so this cake worked. Very lemony and sponge cake was ok, quite light. Not too sweet. Had bits of nuts on the whipped cream.

Definitely one of the better vegan #cake options that you're going to find in this city, though that's really more a comment about the paucity of options that we have ☹️ A reasonably good #lemoncake, but it would be a stretch to describe it as outstanding. Good #citrus flavour, the sponge wasn't too moist (I like cakes drier than most people do), the #cream was lightly #sweettooth friendly. Just missing that little something that would have made it really memorable 🥲 Decent #dessert option, we in fact took this home after chancing upon it in the glass display case while settling the bill at the clubber. (There are two cases in fact; used to be the vegan stuff on the left and the vegetarian stuff on the right. Not anymore because we have won 💪)

Nothing better than a classic #lemoncake. The #lemon gives you a bit of reprieve from the sweetness, but overall this is quite a sweet cake. The icing was light and fluffy, and the cake was super moist. Probably couldn’t have eaten the whole thing but thankfully had @chloslo to share it with me.
