Italian cold cut sandwich

this is SO GOOD!!! the meat is great and the mozzarella is so creamy. but i think what really makes this is the cherry pepper relish. it adds such a nice sweet kick!! it’s a little pricey but also huge, i could only eat half of this in one sitting!

Damn this sandwich was amazing, and I keep daydreaming about it! It contains their all vegan house-made pepperoni, capicola ham, pastrami and mozzarella, along with pickled cherry peppers, red onion, mayo, dried oregano, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper all on a French hoagie. It is massive (easily enough for two meals) and comes with chips, so overall the price really is actually a good deal. But remember the sandwiches pre-made and well chilled, so you can’t make any substitutions or subtractions, and they are popular so they often sell out. The staff at all of their businesses are absolutely lovely, and a pleasure to work with. And don’t forget that they support a farmed animal sanctuary called Herbivorous Acres – check it out!

I have been vegan for five years now and I’m always down for vegan Italian sub! The overall meat and cheese of the sandwich was amazing, but the bread was Flavorless and very pale. I wish it would have resembled more of an Italian hoagie roll. Other than that, it was a super nostalgic sandwich and I would recommend this to any vegan passing through Minneapolis like I did! Definitely did not regret stopping!

So good!!! Such good flavor and for the amount of meat on there it wasn’t too overwhelming, it was just right with the cheese and the amount of toppings. 10/10
