Happy Octopus à Lagareiro

Kong allows you to try some traditional Portuguese food without the animal cruelty which I was super excited to try!! The mushroom was super flavourful and chewy! Potatoes were crispy and very yummy.

Very yummy, unexpected presentation, great combination of spinach and oyster mushroom. The dish contains several of them. Very filling too.

Revolutionary. This dish is incredible! I have never eaten an octopus - why would you, they are cleverer than most humans 🐙 This dish however gave me a very close approximation to what it must be like to eat an octopus however. The bite from these king oyster mushrooms (beautifully coloured & splayed to resemble tentacles) is firm and they are chewy. Served with delicious potatoes & sumptuous greens. Best meal in Lisbon thus far! Staff are delightful, helpful, and the best in Lisbon so far too! Keep the 🐙🐙 happy!

Pazzesco pensare che sia un fungo! Mi è piaciuto molto l’insieme, anche se non sa di mare come mi aspettavo. Però vale davvero la pena, è un’esperienza.
