A unique take on the Mantou bread by grilling it in a typical China food skewer style & topping w the five spice powder! V crisp on the edges and it can taste a bit plain and a bit dry on the inside but best eaten with the other dishes or dipped in any of their dishes’ yummy sauces! A la Chili crab/mantou pairing style~
I especially liked having this alongside their flavourful grilled eggplant which had a soft chewy texture which gave such a contrast. See next review!
