This was a battered and fried #organic #tofu #sandwich with lettuce, avocado, red onions, pickles and creamy aioli on whole grain bread served with fries. Honestly, to me it didn’t live up to the hype. Supposedly is one of their best sellers and one of the most loved items on the menu but it didn’t completely do it for me. It didn’t have much flavor, it was like too dry for me also. What’s good it’s that all the ingredients are super fresh, but I don’t know I thought it was going to be like more flavorful. Still, it was edible and somewhat enjoyable. It needs either another kind of sauce or a tastier marinade or more of the aioli. It was kinda bland and meh for me.
And super #overpriced at $13,85.
This restaurant is good though, full vegan in Jaco downtown in Costa Rica, good service, super nice place. This is the second sandwich I have from them and I haven’t really liked any of them to buy them again tho :( but they have many many more options and I would give it another chance because it does have good reviews and it’s popular!
