I can never bring myself to order a #japanesecurry dish with #noodles over rice so I was grateful for the circumstances afforded to be in a large group 😆 #udonnoodles were really the only way to go on this one 😋 A thick #noodle for a #thicc #curry 😝 The perfectly soft bounce is experienced in every slurp! Don’t eat this with a white shirt though 😅 The #carrot and #potato chunks were doing what they were meant to. One to sweeten and one to thicken. To the #hericiummushroom🫡 I thank for its perfectly pull-apart texture 😜 #japanese #curries truly are a league of their own. UGGHH!! So goooodd…and #dairyfree 😉 $13 seems like a lot but the portion is generous, and the heaviness is more than enough to fill up 1 stomach 😛 My stomach began growling as I was writing this review 🤤
“If you didn’t tell me this was Japanese curry, I would’ve liked it more” 📝 That pretty much sums up my experience with this #curryudon too. Those were my friend’s words, not mine. At least it means this #udonnoodles is #omnivoreapproved 🌱 The #curry doesn’t quite taste like #japanesecurry, more so like something you’d get at a mamak 😅 It’s missing that sweeter undertone! The choice of #fakemeat is pretty lack-luster too, but I suppose I’ve forgotten what the omnivore versions usually come with too. It’s not a total rip off at S$13, but I just know I can get much better #japanesefood just across the border https://www.abillion.com/restaurants/timur-laut-supe-vegan-georgetown-branch-10011241
Thick udon in sweet curry packed with carrots, potatoes, and soy meat chunks (not fried katsu cutlet). Quite tasty! ($13)
mommy dearest's bowl One slurp review 👉 wow.. go for it❣️
Not my favourite. A little like Katsu curry but it didn't hit the spot for me! It tastes like a a bunch of curry powder cooked with coconut milk. I was missing some fresh/fragrant ingredients to cut through the spices.
