
I’m a big fan of #vegansushi and this crunchy vegan shrimp roll was awesome. It was well prepared, and all of the ingredients were fresh. It was made up of vegan shrimp tempura, cucumber, vegan eel sauce on the top. Simple and delicious:)
From the menu: "Vegan shrimp tempura, cucumber, vegan eel sauce on the top ($12)." Again with the eel sauce, giving it not only sogginess but a syrupy-sweet flavor. All four of our rolls had that icky sweetness. This was only OK. I wouldn't eat it again, and I'm someone who will happily eat basic cucumber/avocado sushi rolls from the grocery store. Also it seems the rice was too warm when the rolls were made, because each container had a puddle of water on the bottom, and some rolls just weren't sticking together well. It's tough to review a restaurant based on takeout but we've had plenty of other sushi that traveled much farther and not had that issue.
