Crispy potato tacos

Crispy potato tacos, with a side of tomato basil soup, pico de gallo and salsa.

4 crispy tacos filled with mashed potatoes, and topped with pico de gallo, salsa verde and tomato soup on the side. So delicious!

(From the menu) “Roasted poblanos, pico de gallo, cashew lime crema.” I’m not sure I’d call these tacos. They were stuffed with a few teaspoons of mashed potatoes, and sort of sealed all around like potstickers, which was odd. We didn’t taste any poblano however the two sauces were excellent and the fries were perfect. And that sums up this and most of the other dishes we had: bland, not quite as described on the menu, but good sauces/garnishes. I’ll certainly support them but the management needs to get a handle on things before they become issues. (And I hate when a menu says NO SUBSTITUTIONS yet they substitute.) #animalplace
