Crema catalana

Donut sin agujero relleno de crema catalana y tostado y crujiente por arriba. Está espectacular.

Donut de crema catalana. Excelente sabor y muy buena su textura.

El crujiente de azúcar que lleva por encima está muy logrado. El donut está esponjoso y muy rico. El relleno está bueno pero me ha sabido poco a crema catalana.

This was absolutely a full 5 stars dish. I have never particularly loved crema catalana in itself, because of the jello texture, but it makes so much sense as a filling here! And the amount was very generous. What made this dish perfect was the glaze on top, a thin layer of sugar exactly like the one of top of the original crema catalana: usually you break it with a tablespoon, but here you have the pleasure to feel it break under your teeth an get that sugar rush. 👼🏽
