I got a slice to-go for my brother, and by the time I made it to his place, it was melted and a complete mess, so I didn't get a picture of it. But I did get a picture of the whole cake, as seen here, bottom-left corner. A friend and I took a bite out of it, and all of us had one comment...Wow! This was perfect timing too because prior to this, we had went to another vegan eatery, and my brother got a mousse that was very disappointing. Our friend commented that desserts just cannot be replicated without the egg and dairy milk. Hazel and Jade proved otherwise, and my brother and friend plan on going back for more of their goodies! I'm so envious because I don't live in San Diego and won't be able to join them. This place is sooo good. And the price is very reasonable too. No different than a regular bakery.
