Chicken Rice

Something was up with the sour chili. Even my friend luv agreed

Rice was disappointing but the mushroom and chilli were amazing.. only wish there's more achar

Fragrant rice which tasted pretty authentic even without chicken stock or alliums! Served with a generous amount of roasted soy 'chicken' chunks that were quite meaty albeit a little tough, as well as cucumber slices, French green beans, tangy achar, and chilli sauce. There was also a small bowl of tasty clear soup with corn and carrot bits. Would have been nice if there had been more vegetables and if one of the vegetables had been bok choy stir-fried in 'oyster sauce', one of the quintessential pairings with chicken rice. Rice was fragrant, tasty. Chilli was good. Mock chicken very tough and plain. Portion was alright for $6.90
