Baingan Bhartha

I have been to this restaurant for dinner before but I had never done a review. There are various types of menus, including a vegan one. The vegan menu costs 18€ and includes a starter of your choice, a main course of your choice + bread or rice (both offered in two options). In these reviews I will write down the prices of the dishes ordered individually. We ordered Baingan Bhartha as the main course. I had eaten it before, I like it very much. The portions are always generous. Of course it is recommended to eat it together with rice or bread because it is very tasty and quite oily. Polpa di melanzane affumicata con salsa di cipolle e pomodoro. Davvero buonissima. Possibilità di accompagnarla con pane indiano integrale o riso basmati. N.B. Pur essendo presenti nel menù vegano nella voce "Tutto accompagnato da" da cui poter scegliere , il saffron rice e il tandoori naan contengono derivati del latte (panna nel primo e latte/burro nel secondo). Tra le salse di accompagnamento che offrono quella bianca non è vegana essendo a base yogurt e menta. Tutti i dolci contengono latte. Locale informale, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
