This is one of my most addicting desserts ever that I’ve been craving lately, and one bite of this made me wonder why I’ve gone through so many years without an affogato, especially considering how easy it is to make. I think I’ll actually make me one today, with my instant roast coffee, since I don’t have espresso, and my homemade vegan vanilla ice cream that I already have. I’m sure it won’t be as good as Via Gelatos, but I’ll post an update on my instant coffee whether it solves my craving. I hope it does because not only is Via Gelato a long drive for me and I’m rarely in the area, but at about $9, this will need to be an occasional #splurge for me there. Plus, they have so many vegan ice cream flavors that I’d like to try out.
They didn’t have vegan vanilla ice cream, so they recommended this Haupia 🍨. Coconut 🥥 and coffee ☕️? Yes please! Needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed. It was even better than what I was anticipating. Espresso is too strong for me, and this was no exception, but the smooth, rich creamy #meltinyourmouth ice cream immediately comes to the rescue and makes this molto #perfetto and #delizioso 😋. And the hot ☀️and cold ❄️ makes this a yin and yang ☯️ total blissful experience ☮️ .
The oversized cup is a tease because even though I got this with two scoops, I could have devoured three times this portion in one sitting. My plan was to enjoy this on my 30 minute drive to my destination, but I ended up finishing the whole thing right before I exited the parking lot, lol. 
The cup is paper based and looks #environmentallyfriendly. I’d throw this into my #compostbin, but it’s too cute.
