Vegans beware. This was supposed to be a tofu and veggie curry stew. Instead, I got more of a tofu and mushroom heavy soup with a couple veggies. While I didn’t get what was described, I was about to write a decent review anyway because I was enjoying the dish despite that.
What ruined the entire experience for me was finding several pieces of BBQ pork towards the bottom. (!!!!)
I ordered from the vegetarian menu, confirmed this dish is also vegan, and the employee confirmed the dish was 16c while picking up. Honestly I think what happened is that their menu is just too big for them to keep track of everything. I looked through the entire menu, regular and veg, and there was nothing that fit the description for what I got. (They have 121 food items on the regular menu and 33 for vegetarian.)
Not getting what is described is one thing, but getting meat in a vegan dish (from the vegetarian menu!) is another. Now I can’t even trust that the broth is vegan. I’m pretty unhappy. :( Hoping it was just a fluke
Sorry to write such a negative review, but I believe honest feedback is more important to consumers than blindly positive feedback
