Beck Hall Hotel
We are England’s first 100% plant-based hotel.
This was my spouse's second meal.
The batter was crispy on the banana blossom and seasoned with nori but the blossom itself was a bit bland.
The tartare sauce had added garlic 🧄 and coriander which I think was trying too hard and overcomplicating it.
The chips also appeared to have some sort of drizzle on them which at first looked like balsamic vinegar but when we ate them tasted like marmite, so I'm not sure what was going on there!
Their favourite part was the chilli and lime peas.
