This was a starter, it just said olives on the menu, so I didn't know the bread was coming. I had let the waitress know I was vegan when ordering. I went to double check with them that the bread was vegan, and they had to double check but it was, and it was very nice bread too! And warm! And there was a large quantity of different types of great olives, that came in a watery tomato sauce which was absolutely delicious! So I was very glad I ordered olives to start! If I go here again, I'll definitely order the olives again. But unfortunately it's not the sort of place I'd usually choose to eat, but I was with nonvegan family in an area full of similar pubs and no vegan places. I don't like to eat at places like this that have a menu full of dead animals. It's really sad. Nice evening but very sad to see the menu full of dead animals.

The olives and bread look good! I, too, really dislike going places with non-vegan family members because they almost always choose steak houses/Grills.
Agreed, it's a horrible experience dining with non-vegans at a non-vegan place. 😔
