[EN] 🌱 And finally I did it! Tried vegan lasagne on board #ryanair 🙂
It was like the Holy Grail. Unattainable and inaccessible. Finally, here it is. 🙂 What do we get for 8 euros?
🍅 At first - a pleasant surprise. I expected a small snack and the lasagne is not small. Not big either. But those 350g are more or less ok.
🧅 The first carefully bite with devotion. And what can I say... The pasta is hard and dry, there is no springiness at all. As if it was uncooked. But after a while I read that it is also a gluten-free product. That explains a lot, but does it have to justify bad pasta? After all, it is the basis of lasagne 🤷🏻
🥕 The sheets of pasta are layered with tomato sauce with vegetables: carrots, onions, spinach. While the vegetables are good, soft and tasty, the tomato sauce itself is not. The taste of tomato concentrate is very distinct here, which unfortunately always disappoints in ready-made products. We feel the acid, not the aroma and taste of tomatoes.
🫛 The béchamel sauce is ok. It has a smooth consistency. Unfortunately, it is very "safe" and delicate in taste. You can't taste the nutmeg at all.
🥑 Vegan lasagne in Ryanair is an confusing and strange dish. Normally you would never buy it. But when you fly somewhere, you're glad it's there. A plus for the carrier for offering a plant-based option 🌱

Była niczym Święty Gral. Nieosiągalna i niedostępna. W końcu jest. 🙂 Co dostajemy za 8 euro?
🍅 Na początku miłe zaskoczenie. Spodziewałem się małej przekąski a lasagne mała nie jest. Duża też nie. No ale te 350g to w miarę ok.
🧅 Pierwszy kęs z namaszczeniem. No i cóż... Makaron jest twardy i suchy, w ogóle nie ma w nim sprężystości. Jakby był nie ugotowany. Dopiero po chwili doczytałem, że jest to też produkt bezglutenowy. To wiele tłumaczy, ale czy to musi usprawiedliwiać niedobry makaron? W końcu to podstawa lasagne 🤷🏻
🥕 Płaty makaronu są przełożone pomidorowym sosem z warzywami: marchewką, cebulą, szpinakiem. O ile warzywa są dobre, miękkie i smaczne, o tyle sam sos pomidorowy już nie. Bardzo wyraźny jest tu smak koncentratu pomidorowego, który niestety zawsze przeszkadza w gotowych produktach. Czujemy kwas a nie aromat i smak pomidorów.
🫛 Sos beszamel jest ok. Ma gładką konsystencję. Niestety jest bardzo "bezpieczny" i delikatny w smaku. Gałki muszkatołowej nie czuć w ogóle.
🥑 Wegańska lasagne w Ryanair to danie nieoczywiste i dziwne. Normalnie nigdy byś nie kupił. Ale jak gdzieś lecisz, to cieszysz się że jest. Plus dla przewoźnika za to, że oferuje roślinną opcję 🌱
