Vegan drumstick en Vegan Falafel Penang — Reseña de Steven Neoh (16 may 2025)

I have good news and bad news. Let's start with the bad: this restaurant has undergone a name change. It is now just Falafel Penang. The second picture tells you why: they have decided to introduce dairy items onto their menu 😢 Before you pile in on them, consider for a moment that businesses really don't do much more than reflect the demand that they perceive. As I always say, the biggest problem with capitalism are the consumers. The same way that the biggest issue with democracy is the stupidity of voters. But I digress 😐

These #drumsticks were gloriously greasy (and #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😊), their crispy exterior giving way to a juicy, tender exterior that didn't quite scream #chicken but then also didn't at all have chickens scream 😏 The #veganmayo dip on the side was delicious and well spiced - until you tell the non-vegans that it's dairy-free, at which point it stops being anything good 🤷‍♂️
