Deep fried Maitake Mushrooms en Izakaya Masaka — Reseña de pattini (8 may 2025)

I’m honestly astonished by how perfectly food gets fried in Japan and these maitake mushrooms were no exception. Their super crunchy texture was mouthwatering and the taste was amazing. I really loved this restaurant which is super informal and small, in the basement floor of the Parco department store in Shibuya. It’s fully vegan and it’s well known, so be prepared to wait in line for sometime before eating, there are some seats outside so just be patient. A 20-30 minute wait is definitely worth a meal here. It’s also super convenient, this dish was only 750 ¥.
