Presumably dubbed 'water chestnut pastry' due to its resemblance to the aquatic corm - though why this includes 'Taiwan' in the name is beyond me 🤷🏻‍♀️. In any case, this crusty, flaky confection is a decent pantry snack with sticky malt filling and crunchy white sesame seeds all over it.
