Honestly, this cheezy #garliclover #brusselssprouts appetizer is everything I was hoping the Goddess Bowl would be. It features Brussels sprouts smothered in a noochy “roasted #garlic sauce” with “pepita parmesan, arugula, lemon, [and] sorrel.” Like many options on the menu, it is #glutenfree!
I feel like a lot of restaurants feature some sort of fried Brussels sprouts #appetizer these days; this was a considerably saucier affair. My dad and I quite enjoyed the #savory dressing and peppery #veganparmesan. My mom, however, felt they were a bit wet (she’s the type to always ask for dressing on the side.) The sprouts were tender, so they didn’t have that char/crispness that some folks may prefer. We were a bit surprised when they came out; hopefully seeing the photo will allow for more informed ordering!
For my part, I thought this appetizer was tasty enough to warrant getting again. It was $9, and a single portion was enough for 2-3 to share.
