I should point out that WAVE has quite an interesting drinks menu worth looking through, but boring old me just wanted a black coffee. Still, this was a lovely cuppa. They also sell their coffee beans, if you’re interested to buy. Milky beverages use Oat milk by default, but other plant milks are available as well. #coffee #blackcoffee

Such a cute vegan cafe in Hackney Central, in a nice quiet corner of an otherwise fairly busy area. They’ve got a really nice menu. Their mains can be quite pricey, but the portions can be quite generous. They also have lighter items, including açai bowls, sandwiches, and pancakes. Plus vg pastries and cakes that look well tempting, and specials on the board which I completely missed. Major allergens are labelled on the menu, plus they’ve included a QR code to a spreadsheet with a full list of ingredients and allergens for every item, which i think is simply amazing.
