Review of falafel salad bowl at Big Mamma’s Burritos by lizmaselli
Ugh, again I feel so bad, but this also wasn't it. This is an "off menu" item they recently created. It was described as #falafel with salsa verde, black beans, lettuce, onion and tomato. I wasn't expecting the falafel to be smashed and mixed with the salsa verde. The look was really off putting so I only tried a bite. I also hate to say it didn't have any flavor either. Greg ended up eating this with the tostino chips. This was also expensive 😳 at $12. The photo doesn't show how small this bowl was and how light. It wasn't filling. Again, I hate to say it but this wouldn't be a place I would recommend to a #vegan if traveling through or a new vegan.
