I try not to rely on any protein bars, they become a trigger for me and I will find myself snacking on them more than I should. Therefore I save them for #vegantravel #hiking and very occasionally I will pull one out when a day got away from me. Last night was a loooong night for my husband and I as our #type1diabetes daughter kept going low and we had to take turns feeding her, so our longest stint of sleep was maybe 2 hours straight. Cue to cranky adults getting the morning going and I was out of both the Chia seed pudding and Overnight oats I try to make and keep stocked in the fridge. So I grabbed a bar for each of us, kicked my husband out the door for work with some leftovers from the other night's dinner (#okra) and sat at my computer to start my job.
These bars taste good, too good, but did fill that need I had to lift me back up and get me through the morning. They also are much cleaner ingredients than most. After I had enough energy to spare to take a break and do a quick exercise before jumping back into my day.

I just tried one of these from @edav334 at work! I really liked it. Usually, I get sleepy after eating protein bars, but I felt normal after this!
