Flan de chocolate negro en Cañadú — Reseña de Madeleine (27 feb 2024)

My first experience of a vegan flan. It was sweet yet strongly tasted of dark chocolate. The texture was a bit interesting though. I was expecting something smooth, creamy, and rich like a pannacotta, but it was more like a water-based jelly more than anything. This made it a much lighter kind of dessert but I’m still not sure whether I like the gelatinous texture or not. The strawberry and apple slices were very fresh and went well with it. It pairs nicely with the moscatel too.
