these were good, but not my absolute favorite.
to start, there are 3 servings per container, each with 8 beef tips. because the beef tips are pretty small, i’m not sure if that is the best deal price wise and i can only reasonably afford them on sale. 14g of protein isn’t bad for 8 tho!
the taste was my favorite part. i loved the flavor when i cooked them in a skillet (for a sandwich). it’s a little peppery, but i do love pepper. they were surprisingly flavorful for just being frozen in the package.
the texture was just okay. i think there are better mock meat textures out there, and i could bite through them pretty easily with no give. they were a bit softer than i’d expect. i think the texture was good in general, but bad for replicating the texture of beef.
i’m not sure if i would purchase these again due to the servings per container, but they weren’t bad by any means.
