Review of Aubergine Karaage at Hakata Ramen + Bar by alistar
🇯🇵🍆 Again, taking a leaf out of @jessskh’s book, we tried this aubergine karaage after reading her reviews. We were both astounded 🤩at how delicious it was. My partner described it like fireworks 🎆🎇going off in your mouth and then melting sweetly. Each bite is just a joy. We were wondering if they were deep fried or air fried and my partner was wishing he’d asked for the recipe it was that nice. They are in a Japanese BBQ sauce. For £4.95 this is incredible value for London as it was a very generous portion. The menu is about half vegan here so there’s loads more to try but I’ll just want the same two things next time as they were too awesome. Incredible ramen 🍜here too. I lived in Fukuoka-ken in Japan for two years where I fell in love with the local tonkotsu 🐖🍜ramen. It’s amazing to be able to find vegan tonkotsu ramens all over London now, when I arrived they didn’t even have tonkotsu here. I’m so grateful we have such incredible options on our doorstep here. 🤸🙏🏻 #ramen

Thanks for sharing you can’t see the impact leaderboard either which makes me think it might be a UK issue. So bizarre. Ah technology! We struggle as we only have standard broadband which is very difficult for us especially when my partner works from home. Doh! And the 4G is dreadful where we live so can barely use that. It’s frustrating, argh technology. Let’s hope that 2024 will bring us fiber broadband in some miracle! 🙏🏻1 likeReply
