I’ve been thinking about this veggie recently.
Xiao Bai Chye from what I know is not a local veggie. But it is one of the most common veggie around.
Just like apples and oranges. It’s not our native fruits. But it’s so cheap and abundant.
I learnt from somewhere we should eat local. That’s what matches our body the best.
Xiao Bai Chye is tasty. Easy to cook and very versatile though. No wonder it took the top spot. The veggie king 😂

It can grow locally though right? 🧐 Eating only native plants to the area would exclude many things such as chilli, eggplant, broccoli, and tomatoes.
