I promise the red is not blood! Though it has the look and eerily dripping consistency, it is actually a rather sweet drizzled sauce. While the presentation is half the beauty, it's the flavor that truly dazzles. I have never had seitan so heavenly. Beautifully marinated and with the soft texture of a filet mignon - worth getting over the feeling that you're eating a product of imposition.
