Review of Creamy root beer - Zevia by louisg

I received this can of Zevia Creamy Root Beer at the VegTO Fest in downtown Toronto in August. Someone was handing out free cans of pop, so I gladly accepted one. Hence, the 5-star rating for value. I’m happy it was Creamy Root Beer as I’ve loved root beer since I was a kid.

Although I didn’t pour this pop into a glass, I did detect its creaminess while drinking it from the can. It definitely wasn’t overly sweet and it reminds me of A&W root beer (to me, that’s the standard or benchmark), but without the horrible nutritional values. For example, according to https://web.aw.ca/en/our-menu/drinks/aw-root-beer, the same 355ml of A&W Root Beer has 160 calories, 38 g of sugar, 39 g of carbohydrates and 75 mg of sodium, compared to 0, 0, 0 and 0, respectively, for Zevia Creamy Root Beer.

I would definitely get this at the grocery store (I’m assuming it’s available there) if it’s priced reasonably.
