This #plantbased alternative to mature cheddar cheese serves its purpose well.
It’s firm and grates well ir can be melted.
I usually by violife from my local shop but since M&S is right opposite my station exit, it’s sometimes convenient to shop there.
It’s good that they have a section devoted to plant-based foods, but odd to me that it focuses on meat impersonators rather than tofu, pulses and beans.
The alternative to cheese comes in a plastic container that is bigger than the 200g block. I can’t help wondering if that’s a marketing ploy to make it look like you’re getting more? 😼I wish they wrapped it in a more biodegradable material too.
