Rye sourdough toast topped with avocado slices as well as #sglocal #onlyeg 'poached egg'! Made using soy protein, coconut cream, and rice flour, the @onlyeg 'poached egg' was perfectly soft and jiggly, with a flowy 'yolk' inside. (Eggs-plosion!) The cherry on top was the housemade pumpkin hollandaise sauce that the 'poached egg' was doused in - so creamy and savoury! In fact, I had recently eaten what was purportedly the best vegan egg benedict in Sydney, but I can honestly say that this dish at The Plant Food was much nicer, especially when paired with the housemade sauce. I immediately ordered this again for delivery the following day and my non-veg mum absolutely loved this too. Served with a side of green salad mix, this would be great as an all-day brunch!
