BOSH recipe book de Bosh! — Reseña de sianski (22 jul 2023)

There isn’t really a category for a book on #abillion, but I think #bosh is well worth reviewing as it is a great promoter of vegan food.

BOSH! are two friends from Sheffield who decided to cut out animal products entirely and both felt fantastic as a result. They have become very popular plant-based internet chefs.
I’ve actually never seen them on screen. I was given their recipes in old school book form and really enjoy trying their simple to follow instructions.

The meal I made this week (pictured) is a nutritious Satay Sweet Potato Bosh! Bowl.
Very tasty and didn’t take long to prepare.
I would tweak some of the quantities next time I made it, as for example, there was just too much sharpness to the dressing by adding so much zest.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and felt it was well balanced.
The healthy fat of the raw #avocado is satisfying, combined with the roasted #sweetpotato high in #fibre and #antioxidants and vitamin rich #broccoli
I was pleased to try #quinoa too which I haven’t used much, but as it’s high in #aminoacids I would like to make it more often.
Apart from the huge range of exciting dishes, there’s a very useful double page on nutrition, smashing the myth that you need animal flesh to get protein. I find it a helpful guide to checking your protein and vitamin sources.

Vegans are spoiled for choice.

The book cost £20
