Tried this for the first time this week, my partner bought from Woolies.

I really like the flavour - nicely smoky and salty. Texture wise, it was like the really crispy parts of bacon strips (from what I remember - it’s been about 14 years 🥴). It doesn’t seem to need long at all in the frypan, it’s easy to overcook and goes crunchy pretty quickly.

Not a regular purchase for me, but might buy every now and then for something different.

Ps. Doesn’t the new footage from Farm Transparency Project released this week once again reinforce how f*cked up the “pork” industry is, such incomprehensible, unnecessary suffering 😭💔 It makes my stomach turn.
