Amai Hawaii en Plant A Pizza — Reseña de Taz 🐱 (7 mar 2023)

Hands-down our top highlight from our weekend away in Ghent: #pizza delivery from Plant a Pizza 🍕 it was so good we ordered it two out of our four nights there (and yet all I ended up with as evidence of our sublime experience was this shoddy photo… I know, I know … sorry 🫠)

Their claim to fame is that they’re the first 100% plant-based pizzeria in Belgium… and I don’t need to try any others to say they must be the BEST as well.

So, the pizza… I’ll admit I’m part of Team #pineappleonpizza and couldn’t resist picking this one off the menu. I’m not usually a big fan of vegan “meat” but I really enjoyed the “chick*n” and “bac*n” on this - it provided the necessary savoury element to perfectly complement the sweetness of the glazed pineapple.

The piece de resistance was, of course, the base and the crust 👌 I swear I’m just about drooling right now at the mere thought of it. So incredibly good.

Long story short: don’t leave Ghent without trying one of these pizzas! You can thank me afterwards 😋
