This was the only starter labelled as vegan so ordered this by default.

Don’t think I’ve had aloo bonda before? A Maharashtra street food - spicy, deep fried mashed potato balls with chickpea flour and dried fruit, served with tamarind sauce.

These were really really tasty! $9.95 for four.
