Ordered for the table - I was planning on just picking off the parmesan cheese shavings. But, as soon as the waiter heard I was vegan, it was arranged for the cheese to be served separately in a little bowl for the rest of the table to help themselves to add onto their slices.
This gesture was surprisingly thoughtful and very much appreciated.

Lovely, lightly-seasoned focaccia. I did feel the need to add a sprinkle of salt.
