It’s odd that some dishes here don’t have a side of rice. Case in point, this fascinating #curry #chicken dish before me 😮 I had this among many other sides with @dafnelately for dinner a couple months back. She confidentially remarked it wasn’t #spicy 😊 I could only catch her brother’s amused chuckle after the bite 😂
My first bite gave a wonderfully #aromatic #spice hit. Not 5 seconds later, the #spicy punched me in the throat 🥵 It wasn’t super spicy but it wasn’t mild! I think it went really well with how #sweet this #vegancurry was. Though, gladly, it held more savouriness than their other saucey selections 😋 This majesty of #spices was the perfect coating to the bouncy #mockmeat as well as the gently boiled carrots and potatoes 😝 Personally, I don’t need a lot of bite. So this softness was just great. I reckon it’s meant to provide consistency to marry with the soft pieces of tofu too 😜
This was RM 18.90… I remember being none too please about that the first time I read it.
And yet, I’d probably order this again on a slight splurge 😗
