Umeboshi Onigiri en Ippuku Tea House — Reseña de 🪴🥑🪲 (9 jun 2022)

I hadn’t ever tried #umeboshi (paste made from pickled ume fruit) before, so I thought I’d try it! It had a very strong flavour that slightly reminded me of wasabi, but it wasn’t spicy. The #sushi rice was chewy and sticky, and the nori was flavourful and perfect for sandwiching the #onigiri. I might have preferred a little more filling, but overall I loved it! It also came with a small bowl of miso soup, which was flavoured perfectly and contained pieces of soft tofu and veg.
