Have been wanting to try a Banh Mi for a while now and what better place than vegfest?! I’ve only ever seen Tofu versions of this vietnamese classic - which sucks for someone who isn’t the biggest fan of tofu (yes, even when it’s seasoned / cooked properly). So while personally, it wasn’t my fave and tasted a tad bland to me, all you tofu enjoyers should defo try this! The vietnamese-style hoagie is filled with sesame garlic tofu + a spicy peanut sauce, pickled carrots, cabbage, crispy shallots, cilantro, and a soy driz - overall, a fairly tame flavor but the heat from the sauce adds a tiny little kick that’s great! 🇻🇳🥖 #lancastervegfest
